A month....not a long period of time, but yet it seems this city knows how to capture your heart and provoke your interest and inspiration to bloom. While writing and sipping my signature drink of choice, I have also managed to master the dark arts of investing time into quality learning, even tho the chaotic and creative Week of Fashion caused an overflow of sexy, well-dressed, put together, design enthusiastic individuals in the city center (oh boy, as you can imagine YOU HAVE TO LOOK AT THEM and admire the clothes and bold choices).

It must be a challenge, mustn't it? The separation from family and friends is hard? You must be struggling dear?

- Actually never felt better, dear.

Apparently the three most popular questions asked I can not seem to answer any different than this. And , yes maybe it can be hard, but having the support always in your heart, being aware of your goals, dreams and aspirations is worth the risk and new found independence can only help, instead of slowing you down.

So, what has changed (except from my surrounding and eating habits #pastaallaround): The mindset. Apparently all Italians are relaxed compared to Serbians... and I mean really, really relaxed. Their main mantra obviously being: I don't give a sh*t . (dear Serbs, please start using this mantra immediately. WARNING: May cause positive effects on mood and sleep)

What have I learned so far?

I  Dress the way you feel comfortable, but keep your uniqueness in the process.
Wider pants, high-waisted jeans, plaid shirts and over-sized sweaters #ladolcevita seemingly doesn't always require the the tighter the better principle as well as the shorter the better principle (common for areas like my home country).

II Be busy. Italians are always doing something, yet still having time for everything...
Sometimes in order to show your full potential you have to leave the comfortable bubble of familiar and step into unfamiliar terrain.. Sign up for drawing courses, associations (which also looks good on your CV in the future) and spend time researching events and opportunities that involve things you like and are passionate about.
Secret incoming: Even when in a rush, order an espresso, a cornetto and enjoy it while casually standing and leaning on the bar.

III Be sporty! As many of you already know I am very passionate about running and was therefore sad when I couldn't run anymore for a certain period of time. Here, one can find plenty of motivation, and I have found my personal one too..
Everyone runs, and those who don't, welp, they prefer their bicycles obviously.
What motivates me: realizing that sometimes tho people pretend my opinion and interests don't have a value and as a result interrupt me, that exactly those interests and stories leave a mark on them, so why don't I try to top that and become a even better version of myself. (and yes, also confidence is benefiting from Italy)

So, how to end this random session of confessions, honest thoughts and inspirational attempts, I guess it is best done through pictures, enjoy your evening lovelies... And prepare, cuz this is just the beginning of a good story....

Fairy tales, princesses and Prince Charming on the white horse, haven't we all dreamed about that while growing up?

Last week Fendi showed us how their dream princess looks like and granted us a glimpse into their fairy tale world of cuts, designs, beads and pearls.
At Fontana di Trevi, while walking down a glass runway over the water, our favorite models of the moment (not to forget social stars) made the show one of the most memorable of all times.
Now it's up to you to scroll down, enjoy the tale, perhaps even make up your own personal one...

It's SUMMER, sun + the beach and small, smaller, a bikini. Where to eat, where to s

sleep, what to book and see, our main questions these days, but do NOT, I repeat, do NOT start to panic, we all still have our smartphones with us.

In an era of internet domination it is hard not to start using it even for planning your vacation.
Travel apps, many out there, but as many bad ones too. So, how to know which ones are HOT from those that are NOT.( That's where I come in XD)

Here are my favorite 10 Apps for planning, exploring and discovering different cultures, countries and cities:

Your travel agent for on the go, it gathers flight information, bookings and all that goes with it in one big entry. The only thing you gotta do is forward the confirmation E-Mails to the app and you are good to go.

Have you ever visited a country and thought to yourself, why is it so quiet and where are all the peeps? Oh, well, Goby has the answer to that question. It pinpoints all the hot spots throughout the city, especially marking the ones nearest to you (including museums, theaters and cultural events ^^)

We all know the stress level when the gas tank is empty, so save yourself some time and money by using this app. It for sure has your back on the road.

An App specially made to find you a hotel ASAP. It works together with smaller hotels in metropolitan areas, offering you the smallest price you can get (but beware, since this is a relatively new app, it doesn't have that many hotels on it).

A Guardian sister app, offers you a brief overview of the city you are in with all its restaurants, bars, cafes and events and their locations, a sure must have ;)

Though not really necessary, this app can be used to preserve all of your best memories. While it tracks your pace and marks your route with a red line on the map, you can go ahead and take pictures, add videos and produce your own personal travel diary in a very professional in the making way.

All of you language enthusiast (we all know I am one of you too) may have heard of this one. Game based as it is, it guides you through levels of learning a language and can come in handy while abroad, since it teaches you the basics we all need in order to get around. Additionally, it also keeps your knowledge of vocabulary and grammar fresh and on point.

The struggle does get real when the so-called digital generation has to get going without Internet for a while... But thank the Lord for this app, it shows you all the available free Internet access points and how far away they are from you. So, ladies and gentleman, you are taken care of.

Have a dog? I do to. Now, often hotels don't accept pets. But worry no more Bring Fido knows it all. This app is specially designed for us owners in order to plan a pet-friendly holiday with man's best friend more easily.

NOW, I think you feel me when I say that most of the time I forget to pack things that I actually need. That is why I use Packpoint. It gives you a clear overview of the things you listed that need to be packed, and once you pack 'em, just tick 'em in the App.

ZHU - Generationwhy (Audio)

Shoes...every girls dream and nightmare in the same time.  Leather, latex, wooden heels, everything is possible nowadays (even seen people in Louis XVI heels). The only thing that matters to me, they gotta be Made In Italy. Don't we all love la dolce vita, the Italian swag and style, fresh smell of polished leather shoes, ahhh, starting to tear up right now XD.

That is why I was especially excited when discovering a new, fresh face in the designer scene. Roberto Fest, may I add, a Milano company, not only makes shoes, but they are comfortable too. Modern, futuristic and golden (#punintended).

This pair carried me through the whole night of my prom (a #prom post coming up soon) and made me shine on one of the biggest nights and milestones in the process called growing up (and boy it's a long one)

All the other fabulous shoes can be found on or the company's instagram page @robertofestamilano (p.s. there is even a see-through heel available).

P.S. For us Serbian girls, you can easily buy them in Kralja Petra street in the boutique Graffiti, they both have the main shoe line as well as the the other two ones of Roberto Festa.
